The Hip Dad Open Returns!
After a three-year break, we’re bringing it back on August 2nd with 16 players battling it out in our biggest tournament yet. We are playing Mario Golf for the Switch and will be streaming the entire event with commentary, hanging out, talking trash, and watching every shot unfold. The first one since 2022. How to enter to play
Submit the qualifier scorecard by July 26. Qualifying round played at Shelltop Sanctuary, 18 holes, start on 1, pro course layout, strong wind, no special shots.
If more than 16 people submit entries, then only the best 16 players' scorecards will be in the open.

Tournement Structure
Number of players: 16
If more, they will have to play a qualifying round for a seat.
2 people playing at a time on a game. We will be streaming from 2 different switches and 2 TVs at a time if possible. We will be using Hit in the same mode for at least the first few.
Rules
Super Star clubs encouraged.
No special shots.
Qualifying round played at Shelltop Sanctuary, 18 holes, start on 1, pro course layout, strong wind.
1st Round of 16: 9-hole match (Bonny Greens)
Quarterfinals: 9-hole matches - flip a coin, then winner can choose between (Ridgerock Lake, Balmy Dunes, Wildweather Woods, Spiky Palms). Coin flip winner gets to decide between course or picking character first.
Semifinals: 18-hole matches on All Star Summit or Blustery Basin.
Final Match: 18 holes on Bowser Highlands.
Hole-in-One Pot (Optional)
Players can opt in by adding $5 to the pot. Whoever gets the most hole-in-ones over the tournament wins the pot. If there's a tie, the player who got their first hole-in-one earliest wins.
